The winter is on its way

At the moment the days are very dark and short here in Sweden. it really feel that the winter are getting its grip around the whole country. But in a couple of weeks people will start to place lights in the garens and light more candles both inside and outside.

In the meantime I long toplaces as in the picture above.

Ralph Lauren a true inspiration

A man that inspires me much is Ralph Lauren. He has from practically two empty hands been able to build a conglomerate of  products breathing a whole life style. At Ralph Lauren you can buy everything from beautiful furniture and home decor articles to clothes for women, men and kids. In every Ralph Lauren shop I have visited I have always been very kindly treated and the personell are always very helpful. I also like Ralph Laurens sense of style in all their advertisement as well as on their web site. This inspiration have been very helpful in the buildning of my own company Millefeuille. I have from the beginning felt the need of a clear and classic style that are communicated in everything from the products to the service around the products and in the advertisement. I realize that I have not yet reached as far as Ralph Lauren but I am on my way.

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 13

The other day I watched the online movie from Louis Vuittons latest fashion show. I must say that I was a little bit surprised that many of the designs were made in plaid fabrics. However I am used to this feeling and then after some days I will love their design. I can not remember once when I have been dissappointed regarding their designs and style.

New years eve in Paris?

I plan to spend at least one New Years eve in Paris. I think Paris is one of the worlds most beautiful and romantic towns. Since Ritz is closed right now I would turn to my other favourite hotel Plaza Athenee and book a nice suit. Then I would book a nice table at one of Paris very good restaurants for me and my loved ones and order Oysters, lobsters and a really good beef of meat. For dessert I can imagine a really nice and creamy Creme brulee. A really fine Champagne and red wine from Bordeaux would  suit the dinner well. When the clock turns 00.00 I will watch the Eiffel tower and be near my beloved husband. I will make sure that we will have at least one week in Paris so I have the time to shop both before and after this magical night.

Wonderful Warm weather

At the moment it rains outside my window and I sit down in the cushion in front of an open fire. I have a cup of wonderfull smelling and warm the in my hands and I also have my new wonderful fragrant candles from Voluspa beside me. I feel the warmth spread inside my body and when I close my eyes I dream away to the place in the picture.

Autumn News!

At the moment we are working very intense at Millefeuille with the last details of our first collection of night gowns. The gowns are very beautiful and made in silk. We plan to launch them in two weeks time. We are also finishing our new collection of linen for cribs and small children beds that will be introduced later this autumn. It is always fun when new collections that have months of planning and work behind them are ready to be introduced.
