Summer dreams

Here in Sweden the sun starts to show more and more and I have started to long for the summer. I think of a beautiful green garden with lots of blooming trees and bushes and lovely scents from the flowers in the air. Why no put a bed with beautiful bed linen under one of these trees There can one lie down and look up on the blossoms and the leafs. Later this spring when the degrees have risen and when the nature wakes up from its winter rest I promise to post such a picture on the blog. Which of my collections (on millefeuille.se) would suit my outside bed best? Vote on my blog and I send the winner a set of three lavender satchels. Calm sanctuary

In these days when things happens so fast I think it is important to stay up and breathe sometimes. In a hectic life with lots of work and meetings it is important to have a place where you can feel totally relaxed and happy. For me that place is my bed room. I like a luxurious touch and in my bed I like bed linen that breathes elegance and calmeness. That also includes the the feeling of them that must be cool, very soft and luxurious. When I started to design bed linen it was this kind of design that inspired me. I thought of a nice peaceful garden in Provence with butterflies dancing outside an open balcony door and a light smell of lavender passing by. Another inspirational picture for me was an old residence at the riviera with large rooms and marble floors and lots of vases with fresh flowers. Why not a stunning view of the ocean and the sound of music from outside.

Oh, all these inspirational pictures makes me long for the summer.

Millefeuille Baby Collection

I have promised to launch a baby collection and here you can see the result. The whole collection is made in a very soft cotton sateen, TC 700 suitable for smooth baby skin.
The beautiful edge in a jacquard woven leaf design gives something extra to the whole collection. Both the duvet cover and the pillow case is adorned with a silk ribbon in pink, blue or cream colour.

This is a perfect welcome gift for a newborn little member of our world.

Flowers in design

For me flowers are important in my designs. It does not mean that every fabric I use contains flowers. On the contrary rather few does. What I mean is that flowers are an important inspirational source for me. They can be beautiful fragile, colourful, calming, fragrant or dramatic as the flower above. I often add flowers to the pictures I take on my products because I want them to tell something about the product so you customers get a better feeling of the product.

New Collection- Fifh Avenue

This spring Millefeuille launches this new collection called Fifth Avenue. It is made in 700 TC Cotton sateen with a beautiful shine and luster. It adds elegance and luxury to every bed room.

The pillow case contains four flanges and can be combined with a flanged top sheet or a single or double duvet cover in the same design. We also have it in the size for children bedding.

The collection also contains one version with a ribbon in the same colour.

The walk in closet of my dreams

When I saw the movie Sex and the City 1 I fell in love with the walk in closet that Big made for Carrie. I would love to have it in my own house. Have anyone of you readers a really nice walk in closet it would be really fun to see your pictures.

When mine is ready I will fill it with clothes, nice shoes and lots of these small boxes intended for storage of lingerie.
