Supersoft and luxurious bed linen

Classic Collection with Triple Bourdon Embroidery, from Millefeuille

At Millefeuille we mostly make our bed linen in cotton sateen. We like this material since it is both very soft and delicate and since it is really shiny and beautiful. When we add embroideries like the Triple Bourdon that is shown in the picture above we only use silk thread so the embroidery will be as soft as the rest of the product. This creates really soft and luxurious bed linen for you to slide down between.

Lovely Autumn

I always get a lot of inspiration in the autumn. Many of Millefeuilles collections are created during the autumn. Maybe this is because the weather allows us to sit inside and just think and draw new designs. The cozy atmosphere with candles, open fires and apple pies do not worsen the odds to create really good things. Also the colours outside our windows are very inspirational. In the night it is lovely to slide down between really comfortable, smooth and beautiful sheets and pillows.

An eye for details

The collection Cote d´Azur with beautiful embroideries from Millefeuille

Embroideries on bed linen must be both beautiful to look at and carefully done Details are important, even small details can make an otherwise nice product look bad. For example in bed linen, many companies put buttons in the bottom of their duvet covers. This can be really nice if the buttons match the rest of the duvet cover regarding design, colour and so on. If it does not it is a very bad idea with those buttons. Many times I have found that these buttons tend to be rather loosely fastened and they can fall off after some washes. Loose threads and fading colours are other details that reduces the quality of many bed linen products. At Millefeuille we are extremely careful with all our details. Since our products are really luxurious we want them to be perfect in every detail. This means that we are using the best of materials, we only use manufacturers that also are very careful with all details, if we use buttons we make sure that they look nice and are fastened carefully. Before we send the products to you as a customer, we also inspect every product to see that it holds what we promise- that it is a truly luxurious product.

Flower design

I love flowers and among my favourites are hydrangeas. They are beautiful to have in boquettes and other flower arrangements. It is easy to understand why many flower designers also like them. In my garden I have white and blue hydrangeas which I look at as often as I have time.

A room with a view

Do you also like to have a nice view from your house or apartment? I think a view of the ocean is fantastic but I also like views of a rolling countryside like the ones in for example Tuscany. Other beautiful views are those from hillside houses or tall buildings in for example Los Angeles or New York where you can see the whole town below your living room or balcony. If you ar missing nice views where you live, take the chance to enjoy it when you are on vacation. While there you can also take lots of pictures which maybe can turn into nice large pictures on your wall when you arrive home.

The cozy autumn

The summer is still here in Sweden but soon it will loose its grip to darker nights and colder days.  I always get a little sad and start looking for trips to warmer countries when the summer ends. Then I know that the autumn is soon on its way. It can be a bit depressing but autumn is also nice. Then the air gets crystal clear and the leafs on the trees turn yellow, gold or red. From the trees we can harvest a lot of ripe apples, pears and other fruits which we can use for baking wonderful pies. In the houses we are starting to light candles and the open fires warms us nicely. So i guess the autumn is not so bad after all.

Starting today we reduce the price of the collection Fleur du France. From its original 310€ for one duvet cover and one sham to 240€.

Fleur du France is a very beautiful collection made in very soft Egyptian cotton sateen with a high thread count. The sateen weaving technique creates the softness in the fabric but also makes it shiny and withstanding. The fabric also has a beautiful jacquard leaf pattern which makes it extra elegant. In the creation of this collection we were inspired by a lush frenc garden with beautiful flowers and fruit trees.

The duvet cover is in the size 59x83 inches (150x210cm) and the beautifully flanged sham is in the size 20x24 inches (50x60cm).  For other size alternatives please contact us att info@millefeuille.se and we can certainly meet your demands.

Every set is delivered to your door in a beautiful white gift box. Delivery time is 2-3 weeks depending on destination. We ship free of charge to Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand. If you live outside these regions please contact us and we give you the price for the shipping. When you place your order we send you an invoice and when we have the money we ship your products. It is possible to return all products or change them to other products but we recommend you to order a sample of the fabric free of charge if you want to feel the quality before you order ( since all shipping costs in case of returned products are payed by the customer).
